Details:
Known for being the westernmost point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca is located at the end of the Serra de Sintra, jutting into the Atlantic Ocean, and was described by Luís de Camões as the place "Where the land ends and the sea begins". At 165 meters above sea level, there is a lighthouse built in 1758, 22 meters high, whose light has a range of about 48 kilometers.
