Inaugurated in September 2009, Casa das Histórias Paula Rego's mission is to make the artist's work known, hosting a permanent exhibition and two temporary exhibitions per year. Consisting of several bodies and surrounded by trees, the building is designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, having won the Secil Architecture Award in 2011.
