Opened in September 2009, Casa das Histórias Paula Rego's mission is to showcase the artist's work, hosting one permanent and two temporary exhibitions a year. Consisting of several bodies and surrounded by trees, the building was designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura and won the Secil Architecture Prize in 2011.
